Just wanted to say thanks awfully for the superb tutorial. I learnt programming at school (C/Pascal), and did well there, but have barely used the skill since (nearly a decade now)...and then all of a sudden I realized that Java would be the best option for a particular project I\'m working on. I spent an afternoon working through your tutorial - though I\'m not quite finished yet - and already know that it won\'t be much fuss to convert my somewhat dormant skills to this language. You present the information in a clear, concise way, without being condescending, which is great. I just need to wrap my head around swing, and then get onto xml parsing stuff, and I\'m on my way. Thanks for a great site; to think, people spend a bloody fortune on books and courses, when all the real information is encapsulated free on a few pages here...really advanced tricks no doubt take something more, but then those tricks are best learnt through experience and playing around, and not through books anyway. And elegant programming technique is a gift, not a skill. I don\'t normally write to random websites, but this one was so good I couldn't not. Thanks again.

Excellent website . I was looking for somewhere on the internet which addressed interfaces , abstract classes, overloading methods and more in a simple easy to understand way. My college professor is horrible at explaining stuff.
